I just could
catch this red Berlingo when it was leaving the A4 highway, taking the
exit Hoofddorp.
A lot of commercial Berlingo's drive around in NL, mostly in white, but you'll meet also a lot of red ones. links:

The
A4 is a highway I drive sometimes for work, and I'll always see some Citroëns
on this highway. Not astonishing when the percetage of sold Citroëns
in The Netherlands is about 5% (2002),
so 1 in every 20 cars on the road should be a Citroën.
The percentage of commercial vans may be higher because you see a lot of Berlingo's and also the bigger vans Jumpy and Jumper, not to forget the C15's that still drive around, even when Citroën stopped selling these since 5 years or so. |
| "Vastgoed Adviseurs BV" from Amsterdam is the owner of this white Berlingo. The advertising on the sides and back is unpretentious, and this is not really necessary for a "working-car". Extra is the roof-rack which can be very handy when you want to transport longer item like a ladder. Note that at this point the highway has 4 lanes into the same direction! The bridge on the photo above is used by airplanes to taxi to or from the starting/landing lanes. |  |

| Berlingos come in all colors, this one was green, no advertising at the sides, but still in use as a van, not as a persons-car. |

Next the 2nd
Berlingo above I wrote: "the roof-rack can be very handy when you want
to
transport longer item like a ladder", maybe I was a bit prophetic because
only 6 days later I could catch this Berlingo loaded with ladders. It's
the van from the glass cleaning company "Glazenwasserij Nederpel" from
Wassenaar/Valkenburg.

| When you have to wait for the traffic light, you'll have the best time to take photos on the road. So here is another one in the series of commercial Berlingo's. As I see all my photos now it looks like it is the most common Citroën on the roads in The Netherlands these days. Maybe there are more of other models, but these are used all through the day. Others are used to go from home to work and you won't see these during daytime. The company is IKPD and it seems to be a courier service. |  |

Waiting for traffic lights is boring, even behind a Berlingo. This one is from Meifleur, you can rent silk flowers from them, did not know you could make a living out of that profession! |
